The Midwest Chapter/Medical Library Association Annual Chapter Meeting will be held in Bismarck, North Dakota from October 11-14, 2014.
Teddy Roosevelt said he would not have been President if it had not been for his experience in North Dakota. Attend the Midwest Chapter 2014 Conference and expand your professional horizons. Spend time out west and explore expanding your skill sets.
Our conference speakers include Sally Gore, an embedded research librarian and informationist at the Lamar Soutter Library, UMass Medical School in Worcester, MA. Dr. Mark Graber is a national leader in the field of patient safety. The Deputy Director of the U.S. National Library of Medicine, Betsy Humphreys, will be speaking Monday morning. North Dakota's booming oil fields have been widely reported throughout the national media. Yet, few have considered the impact on healthcare created by such an economic boom. We have assembled a panel of experts from the fields to discuss the topic.
