Accessibility Policies
In 2023, JJ Pionke, President of the Midwest Chapter of the Medical Library Association, formed an Accessibility Task Force to assess and then create policies around accessibility. This task force produced the following:
The Accessibility Task Force Executive Summary: A short summary of the work that was completed by four project teams.
Accessibility Policies: This document focuses on general accessibility policies for the chapter and where to find more information.
Annual Meeting Accessibility Policies: There are two documents for the Annual Meeting Accessibility Policies. One is for face to face meetings and the other one is for virtual meetings.
Social Media Accessibility Guidelines.Website Accessibility Report: The Website Team evaluated the Midwest website and made corrections to the website to make the site more accessible. This is their report of the work that they did. Document forthcoming
