About Kevin Ray Bush, Ph.D.

Kevin Ray Bush is a professor with a joint appointment in the departments of Educational Psychology, and Family Science and Social Work, and co-director of the Doris Bergen Center for Human Development, Learning and Technology at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He earned his MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Arizona State University and his PhD in Human Ecology (Human Development and Family Relationships) from The Ohio State University. His research interests focus on child and adolescent development in the contexts of family, school, community, and culture. During his 24 years in academia, he has served in several administrative capacities, including Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Graduate Education, an elected member of the university senate for multiple terms, as well as a member and chair of departmental and college level promotion and tenure committees.
Responsible Metrics, Responsible Use: Building Block of Inclusive Research Impact Services Friday, October 11 10:00-11:00am CDT | 11:00-12:00pm EDT I will discuss my research about research impact resources guides in the context of health science libraries. While sharing the implications of the research, I will provide tips to incorporate information about the responsible use of metrics and bias in the research lifecycle into research impact resource guides, workshops, and other services. |

Sheila Craft-Morgan is the Research Impact Librarian and an Assistant Professor at Ohio State University. She leads the development of systematic, scalable approaches that support scholarly research impact within the research lifecycle. She also supports faculty, staff, and students in managing, communicating, and promoting the impact of their scholarly work. Sheila holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Ohio State, an MLS from Kent State University, and a J.D. from Capital University Law School. She has more than 20 years of experience in institutional research and expertise in data analysis and visualization.
