MIDWEST CHAPTER/MLA & IHSLA ANNUAL MEETING

Bloomington is located a 45-minute airport shuttle ride south of Indianapolis in the rolling hills of Monroe County. During the fall, the foliage is a beautiful sight! We’d like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Bloomington and invite you to join us there this year to grow your career with MLA. The Sample Gates are one of the iconic images of Bloomington and serve as welcoming entryway to Indiana University and the city.

Bloomington is a destination for outdoor enthusiasts with the Hoosier National Forest, Griffy Lake, Lake Lemon, and Monroe Lake all just minutes away. The B-Line Trail connects The Hyatt to the Convention Center and provides an accessible option for urban hiking.

Bloomington has something for everyone in terms of food and libations! Eat vegan food at The Owlery. Enjoy a beer at one of Bloomington’s famous breweries. Walk to one of Bloomington’s many coffee shops in the morning. Or, for something completely different, kick off your shoes (sometimes literally) at one of this ethnically diverse town’s many unique restaurants.
